Wife, mother of two girls, and member of Hope to The World Church is a very sweet, energetic, goal oriented, and hard working woman. On October 22, 2005, Reshone married Riley T. Flanders, Jr., Owner and Founder of Flanders’ Burial Services, Inc. In 2004, Reshone received her AA Degree in Business from Santa Fe Community College and later received her BS in Business Administration from the University of Florida in 2006. Even through the years of receiving her education, Reshone continued her employment at the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office where she currently is a Risk Coordinator. Reshone wanted to utilize her degree to the utmost and knew that finding a job that paid the money she wanted was not always the answer when having a family. Reshone wanted a job that was very family oriented and knew that was more important than receiving the exact amount of compensation desired. Therefore, she decided to go after her dream to open a girls organization that would benefit the young girls within her County. In 2007 Girls to Young Ladies, Inc was established and is moving up the ladder day by day, by the grace of God and by the determination of Mrs. Flanders. Reshone loves working with the youth and can relate to the girls in such ways that can inspire them to continue through life no matter what they have experienced along the way. She considers all the girls to be roses and continues to tell them that a rose smells good, looks good, and is a flower that symbolizes a lot of positive meaning to anyone who is presented with it. Therefore this quote from her is instilled in all her girls of Girls to Young Ladies, Inc… “The girls are taught to think of themselves as being roses and to maintain their bodies as a gardener would do a rose.” ~Reshone Flanders |
